Pumpkin Patch Take 1

A few weekends ago we took Steven to a pumpkin patch by us, Theis Farms. We went there last year and really liked it. Unfortunately this day was super cold, the whole week before had been in the 80s so we were not prepared for how cold it was this morning! That put a bit of a damper on our trip but we still managed to have fun. It was Logan's first outing to the pumpkinland but he stayed bundled up and next to me the whole time.

Steven always loves the animal areas. They had pigs, horses, goats, etc. Steven had fun trying to pet the Llama here. It was a pretty cool looking llama. Love all that coloring.

They have a giant hale bale maze and you can climb the outside of it. Steven and daddy got right to the top no problem! That's a big improvement from last year when Steven didn't want to climb it at all really. He's much more fearless this year.

They have these cute little ride on tractors but it seems like the kids are always flocking to them so its hard to find an empty one. When we did, it was a bum one that wouldn't work. That happened to us last year too. Last year Steven was pretty ok with it but this year he was like, "It won't work!!" ha ha.

Oh well.
The highlight of the day was this big slide. Steven seriously did it 15 times back to back. Steve had to help him climb up the rope ladder on the side but it was pretty cute watching him try and conquer it. They really liked the slide.

Wee!
We also did the hayride. Steven was not into taking a picture. You can see Logan all bundled up here and attached to me in the sling.
Worst selfie ever.
Overall it was a fun day. We need to go again when its not ridiculously cold so it will be a little more fun for Steven. After an hour or so he was like, "Can we go home?" ha ha. It was pretty chilly though so we were happy to oblige. We'll try again soon hopefully.
